The traditional Biike on Sylt always takes place on the evening of February 21. Then there are big fires burning in several places on the island, which will drive away the winter as always with success. Together with our guests we walk through the night to the Keitumer Biike; everyone gets a real torch for an exciting torchlight procession (especially for the children). This ritual is the highlight of our BiikeTime. When the Biike then slowly collapses and the flames diminish, we go back to the hotel where our chef has prepared the likewise traditional kale meal – kale full. This is the moment when even die-hard wine drinkers reach for the beer. It will certainly be a very special evening again – for our guests and for us as Sylters and as your hosts.
Our recommendation: If you want to be there, please book early.
