From April 7th to 12th – the week after Easter – it’s again SYLT3 – discover, recognize, experience Sylt.
Claas-Erik Johannsen will once again guide the participating guests across his island of Sylt and the adjacent mainland – personally, informatively, culinary.
This very special event will take place on two dates in 2024 – the spring event now in April… the autumn event in September.
We start – adapted to the season – on the evening of the day of arrival with a menu around the theme of “lamb” and end the event with our famous late riser breakfast in the “particularly hearty” version. On the days in between there is a lot of program: We go to the southern tip of the island to Hörnum, then to Flensburg in the Museumsberg, to a very special concert in the St. Severin Church, to a tour through Keitum and there will be a reading with Silke v. Bremen and subsequent 4-course menu.

From September 22nd to 27th it’s SYLT3 again – discover, recognize, experience Sylt.
Claas-Erik Johannsen will once again guide the participating guests across his island of Sylt and the adjacent mainland – personally, informatively, culinary.
And this time it will be a little – moderately – sportier, because we cover most of the distance by bike.
We meet on the afternoon of arrival to get to know each other for the first time over an aperitif on the Keitumer Watt and end the event with our famous late riser breakfast in the “particularly hearty” version. On the days in between there is a lot of program: we explore the north of the island by bike, then we go to the nearby mainland and on to Seebüll to the Nolde Museum, to a very special concert in the St. Severin Church, to a tour to the dike at the Rantum Basin – there is bossing – followed by a 4-course menu.
We look forward to our island explorers!

Every year on New Year’s Eve, butler James serves a delicious 5-course menu for Miss Sophie and her virtual guests. At RESTAURANT KÖKKEN, Stefanie Windl and her team spoil guests with a Frisian-Victorian menu created by Lennart Dewies and his kitchen crew, and also provide the ideal wine accompaniment.

It is a truly exceptional tournament – not just in the insular competition calendar: For many years, the PRIVATEOPEN® SYLT has combined sporting challenges, culinary highlights, exclusive evening events and friendly competitors like no other golf event. The PRIVATEOPEN® SYLT extends over a total of six days with a top-class culinary program. In addition to the golf courses of the GOLF CLUB SYLT, the MARINE GOLF CLUB SYLT and the GOLF CLUB BUDERSAND, we will be playing another golf course this year … perhaps in Denmark or on one of the neighboring islands?

World-class ballet against the backdrop of the BENEN-DIKEN-HOF
VERDENSBALLETT 2025
Since 2008, exceptional talents have come together every summer to perform as VERDENSBALLETT (from Danish: world ballet) in magical locations in the open air and in a relaxed atmosphere.
The program: classical and modern ballet parts, scenes and arias from well-known operas as well as music for piano and violin.
In 2016, the VERDENSBALLETT, which was initiated by the Danish tenor Jens-Christian Wandt, left Denmark for the first time and performed on the meadows of the BENEN-DIKEN-HOF. It was an incomparable evening that enchanted us all and will take place for the eighth time on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
The VERDENSBALLETT 2025 will once again prove that high culture can also be enjoyed in a relaxed and easy manner.
With Steven McRae, artistic director and principal dancer at the Royal Ballet of London, at the helm, some of the most talented dancers in the world will once again be taking part. Their names will soon be published here.
It will certainly be another magnificent ballet evening – very special, unique. We are looking forward to it.
Around 1,200 visitors are expected again.
Advance ticket sales begin on December 1, 2024.
