It’s literary time again on Sylt!
Look forward to a new edition of the popular literature weekend—now Literature Week—with PRIVATHOTELS SYLT – a celebration of books, conversations, and encounters; with good food and excellent wines.
You’ll meet authors such as KRISTINE BILKAU, TOMMIE GOERZ, KATHARINA HAGENA, ANJA KAMPMANN, MICHAEL KRÜGER, MARTIN MITTELMEIER, RAINER MORITZ, ANDREAS PLATTHAUS, MEIKE RÖTZER, PETER STAMM, CAROLINE WAHL, and JULIA WESTLAKE.

The reading, organized by the BENEN-DIKEN-HOF, will take place
this year in our Keitum village church, St. Severin, due to the expected high number of attendees. Kristine Bilkau will read from her novel “The Peninsula,” which was awarded the 2025 Leipzig Trade Fair Book Prize this year.
We will meet for a three-course meal afterwards in our
RESTAURANT KÖKKEN at the BENEN-DIKEN-HOF.

Tickets will be available for general sale at all private hotels starting September 26, 2025, including our BENEN-DIKEN-HOF. We can, of course, reserve tickets for all events for our overnight guests – provided they are not yet sold out.
