CHILDREN CELEBRATE FESTIVALS
During the 2025 summer holidays from July 17th to September 11th, we will be holding small children’s parties every Thursday at BENEN-DIKEN-HOF.
We look forward to welcoming our guests’ children.
On July 31, 2025 we will all meet at the PRIVATHOTELS SYLT children’s festival – this year in Kampen.
Please register your children for participation upon arrival or at least two days before the respective children’s festival.
We will meet in front of the entrance to BENEN-DIKEN-HOF if the weather is good
or at the reception if the weather is bad… always at 2 p.m.

- Mini Children’s Festival . Fun Olympiad . 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
An afternoon with lots of fun and sporty movement games. The focus is not on individual performance, but on having fun.
The “sports event” ends with an awards ceremony.

- Mini Children’s Festival . Researchers’ Day – Element Water . 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Hello children, become water experts! In addition to great water games, you have the opportunity to carry out exciting experiments on the topic of “water” at the various research stations.
For example: magic in water… how a water purification system is created; how many drops of water does a sugar cube absorb before it disintegrates; … and much more.
You are the experts and can demonstrate and explain your experiments to interested adults.
The research afternoon ends with the presentation of an expert certificate.

- Mini Children’s Festival . With Pirates on a Long Voyage . 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Before pirates set sail, they need appropriate clothing: we sew pirate hats and vests without needle and thread. In the search for the treasure, a number of tasks must be completed!
This activity takes place outdoors in all weathers. Please remember to wear appropriate clothing.

- Mini Children’s Festival . Thread Spinnings . with Vernissage . 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
“What can you do with a thread?”, you’re probably asking yourself. Not only will you get to know different thread games, but you’ll also create works of art: from spider webs to murals and other creative objects. We’ll exhibit them and after the vernissage you can of course take your works with you.

Together we develop a story. We rehearse for a performance with simple costumes and props. Parents are warmly invited to attend.

In our in-house magic school, the magician’s apprentices learn the most amazing tricks. Parents will experience magical moments in a show.

- Mini Children’s Festival . Puken-Rallye . with Treasure Hunt . 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
According to Sylt legend, these little dwarf-like Puken once lived under the gable roofs of houses. They were often people’s helpers. The Puken were given food as a reward for their work. We will hear a Puken story, go on a rally and at the end we are sure to find a hidden treasure.

- Mini Children’s Festival . Circus Project . with Performance . 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
You can try out a variety of different stations, for example stilt walking, juggling with scarves and balls and much more. After a practice phase, you will definitely discover a new talent in yourself! The circus project concludes with a performance.
What you should remember: weatherproof clothing – jacket, trousers, hat, gloves – and mud-proof shoes + sunglasses, sunscreen, backpack.
Changes to the program are possible at any time.
