Since 2008, exceptional talents have come together every summer to perform as VERDENBALLETT (Danish World Ballet) in magical open-air locations and in a relaxed atmosphere.
The program: classical and modern ballet parts, scenes and arias from well-known operas and music for violin. The dancers will be accompanied by opera singers, the violinist Niklas Walentin and the pianist Alexander McKenzie.
Seven years ago, the VERDENBALLETT, which was initiated by the Danish tenor Jens-Christian Wandt, left Denmark for the first time and made a guest appearance together with the BundesJugendballett from Hamburg on the grounds of the BENEN-DIKEN-HOF. It was an incomparable evening that enchanted us all and will take place for the sixth time on Thursday 13 July 2023.
The VERDENBALLETT 2023 will once again prove that high culture can be enjoyed in a relaxed and light-hearted manner. The complete composition of the ensemble will be announced here shortly. Steven McRae, Iana Salenko and Marian Walter have already confirmed. One thing is certain – it will be a selection of internationally recognized artists.
